Every science has its own principles . Homeopathy as a science of medical treatment has philosophy n principles of its own n upon that treatment or therapeutics is based

1 LAW OF SIMILIA.


Homeopathy as a system of medicine founded on law " Similia Similibus Curantur" which means like cure like .


The law similia similibus curantur is of ancient origin but Dr Hahnemann first applied it as method of treating disease


Accordingly , the choice of medicine is based on that . The medicine selected must have the capability of producing most similar symptoms of disease to be cured ...


2 LAW OF SIMPLEX

Here in these Dr Hahnemann used to say that in a disease condition we should prescribe only a single remedy or medicine at a time .


Why ?? But ...


● Homeopathic remedies are proved singly, n also Materia Medica (Source book) is also built on the observed symptoms of the above proving either in planned proving or accidentally proving .


●If more then 2 medicine is given at a time so doctor will not be able to recognize which drug had a curative action on the patient so the follow up will be hampered ...


●In Homeopathy as we studied that the governing power of the body is VITAL FORCE , is a single substance so Medicine inteded to correct its disturbance and disharmony should always be prescribed Single .

Suitableness of medicine for a given case is not only depends on proper selection of medicine its depends on the proper dose or quantity of dose
Under the law , we prescribed medicine in very minute dose
Minute dose means quantity of medicine though it is smallest but it is as effective as to produce least excitation of vital force n to make necessary changes in body

4 THEORY OF CHRONIC DISEASE


During the era of Dr Hahnemann while treating chronic disease he face difficulty, because the disease relapse again n again while in acute case it is not so
So in order to study why it happening with chronic disease after 12 year of experiments he concluded that chronic disease cause by chronic Miasm
I.e Psora , Sycosis , Syphilis ...
Unless n until we dnt prescribe anti miasmatic remedy the chronic disease will not get cured ..


5 . THEORY OF VITAL FORCE



In Homeopathy we stress on existence and operation of vital force in the individual through which the functioning of the body is carry on .
Human organism is consist of Mind ,body and spirit , n the spirit which responsible for different manifestation in body is term as vital force by Dr Hahnemann .
In Normal or Healthy condition ,vital force maintain function n sensation of the organism . So if vital force is derranged by morbid influence it cause abnormal functioning n it outcome is shows as sign n symptoms n its totality consitute a disease



6 DOCTRINE OF DRUG PROVING.


In Homeopathy we prescribe those medicines which medicinal properties are known through Drug Proving


Drug Proving is systematical investigation of pathogenetic power of medicine on the healthy human being of different ages , both sexes and of various constitutions


7 DOCTRINE OF DRUG DYNAMIZATION.


Homeopathic dynamization are processes by which medicinal properties which are latent in natural substance while in their crude state, become awakened and developed into activity to an incrediable degree .


Drugs are potentized by following two methods
Trituration in case of insoluble substances
Succussion in case of soluble substances.
