MELASMA is caused or seen mostly in cases of women's who are pregnant , and in many cases it reverse after pregnancy . There is increase level of progesterone and estrogens in second and third trimester which may trigger it to form Melasma .

It is effective in cases of pregnancy related Chloasma , appearance of moth spots on face and forehead and there is dropping of eyelids . The patches are yellowish brown in colour there is discoloration of skin with uterine and menstrual disorder. Leucorrhea with moth spot on forehead .
LYCOPODIUM
It is also a well selected remedy in case melasma , the face is sallow and emaciated , patches are copper coloured and can be seen on cheek region and around the nose. grey yellow color of face ,blue circle around eye .The look on the face is older then he is. There is intolerance for cold drinks .
