What is psoriasis ?? 

By definition its define as It is a chronic inflammatory skin disorder Characterized by Well circumscribed area of thick, red, scaly skin and round plaques covered by silvery micaceous scale.

# It affect 1 to 2 % of the population

# Commmon in 2nd to 4th decade of life

# Both sexes are involved

# Can be present right after the birth or old age

# 1/3 rd of the patient gives history of psoriasis running in the family.

🔼🔺CAUSES

1 UNKNOWN OR IATROGENIC CAUSE

2 GENTIC OR HERIDITARY

3 HORMONAL IMBALANCE

4 PRECIPITATING INFECTION

5 MEDICATION in which steroids , NSAIDS , beta blocker , many more

6 HIV The rate of psoriasis in HIV-positive individuals is comparable to that of HIV-negative individuals, however, psoriasis tends to be more severe in people infected with HIV.

●Scalp

●Elbows

●Legs

●Knees

●Nails

●Glutial cleft

●Palms/Soles .
🔼🔺Clinical Feature 

★Red patches of skin covered with silvery scales

★Small scaling spots

★Dry, cracked skin that may bleed

★Itching, burning or soreness ...

Erythematous,
well defined dry,
scaly papules and plaques of sizes ranging from pinhead to palm size or larger.
Scales abundant,
loose,
dry and silvery white.

There Are n no of clinical variant I Will mention the name 

Guttate psoriasis 
Chronic plaque psoriasis Exfoliative psoriasis
Pustular psoriasis
Psoriasis unguis
Follicular psoriasis
Psoriasis verrucosa
Linear psoriasis.

Conservative line of treatment 

✩All patient should be instructed to avoid excess drying or irritation of the skin and to maintain adequate cutaneous hydration


✩ Removal of precipitating cause if possible.
✩ Warm climate, sun baths helps to check relapses.
✩ Low fat diet.

Treatment wise I would like to suggest homoeopathic medicine for proper cure.
